There is no way to restore a hint you played by mistake. To earn free hints, you can do the following:

• Play one of our regular special events! Collect tokens and redeem them for free hints at the end of the event. The more you collect, the bigger the prize.
• Share WordBrain on Twitter! Make sure you have the Twitter app installed on your device and that you are logged in to your Twitter account. You can earn up to 3 hints by sharing 3 times.
• Rate the game on the App Store/Play Store.
• Watch rewarded videos.
• Share your progress on the pack complete screen.
• Invite friends to play WordBrain.

Remember that you can win hints by sharing the app and by beating levels!
