The Length Bonus is activated when a player uses seven or more tiles to create a word in a single round. A bonus of 50 points is added on top of the total point value of the word. If a player has less than seven tiles on their hand but plays all of their tiles in one round, the bonus will not be activated, since the minimum amount of tiles to qualify for the bonus is seven.
