Gems are the main game currency. Gems can be used to buy booster cards, and tile styles, refill your energy, purchase unlimited energy, or exchange them in the shop for tickets to join events. 

Gems can be earned by leveling up, winning tournaments or completing certain Daily Challenges. You may also buy gems via in-app purchases or convert gems into coins.
